Italian Surface Finishes IN THE UK

Valsetin and Valrenna systems turn walls into calm, fabric-reading surfaces — from brushed silk light to suede and buckskin tactility. The family is tuned for bedrooms, lounges, suites and corridors across the UK where walls should feel closer and softer, not brighter.

Silk, suede & satin as an architectural family

This family covers silk, satin and suede readings for walls. Valsetin and Valrenna are composed so surfaces read as fabric — soft, directional, light-holding — rather than as a decorative paint effect.

They belong in rooms people actually spend time in: bedrooms, suites, lounges and long corridors where glare is unwelcome and texture can quietly carry some of the atmosphere. Colour, sheen and direction are tuned in the London Studio and held in a written specification, not guessed at on site.

Silk & satin walls — Valsetin systems

Valsetin systems are the silk and satin side of the family — softly luminous, directional finishes that read like brushed fabric on the wall. Below, each Valsetin product appears as its own Studio-style band: a text card and a separate image, alternating left and right down the page.

Valsetin 2

Next-generation Valsetin silk system with modern binders and a tuned primer cycle for large, even walls and ceilings in homes and hotels. Calm satin film, brushed light and long-term stability.

Typical zones: bedrooms, suites, lounges and corridors where you want luminous, textile-like walls instead of standard vinyl paint under everyday British light levels.

Valsetin

Signature Valsetin silk finish — luminous, directional and hand-applied. Pearly movement and soft direction create the classic “quiet luxury” fabric reading on the wall.

Suede & buckskin walls — Valrenna systems

Valrenna is the suede and buckskin side of the family — visually light-absorbing, tactile walls that make spaces feel closer and warmer. Each Valrenna product is shown as a Studio-style split: tactile description on one side, imagery on the other.

Valrenna 2

Original Valrenna suede — soft buckskin tactility that visually quietens a room. Light is absorbed rather than bounced, giving a closer, more intimate feel to walls and ceilings.

Typical zones: suites, lounges, cinemas, listening rooms and living spaces where tactile calm matters as much as colour, especially in lower-light UK interiors.

Where silk & suede finishes belong

These finishes are for rooms people actually live and stay in — spaces where glare is unwelcome and a softer wall surface can quietly carry some of the mood.

In practice, that means bedrooms and living spaces in homes, suites and lounges in hotels, and quiet rooms like cinemas and listening rooms. The same language can run through a project, tuned per zone so the material feels intentional rather than decorative.

Silk & suede inside waterproof systems

In selected schemes this fabric language can continue into bathrooms and spa spaces by carrying Valsetin and Valrenna over the waterproof bodies used elsewhere in the Framework.

Where the risk and detailing allow, the same colours and readings can be composed on top of Waterproof Artistic Walls. The result is a continuous narrative from bedroom or suite into bathroom, while the technical build-up underneath changes the moment you cross into a wet zone.

Where silk & suede sit in the ISF ecosystem

Fabric-reading walls move through the same loop as every other Framework family: Italian manufacturer, London Studio, ISF Academy and the Installer Network. That loop is what keeps bedrooms, suites and lounges feeling calm instead of shiny or fragile.

Italian manufacturer

Valsetin and Valrenna systems are developed in Italy as durable fabric-reading coatings — binders, pigments and protection tuned for real bedrooms, corridors and lounges rather than just sample boards.

London Studio

Full-height panels in the Studio let you judge direction, sheen and colour beside timber, stone and concrete, under project-like lighting, before specifying anything on drawings.

ISF Academy

Silk and suede cycles are taught at Level 2 and beyond – from primers and tools to brushing patterns and protections – so installers can repeat what was agreed in the Studio.

Installer Network

Projects are delivered by installers whose portfolios show real Valsetin and Valrenna work in UK homes and hospitality – feeding lessons back into the Framework for the next scheme.

Italian chemistry, London Studio, ISF Academy and the Installer Network — silk and suede walls held inside one method, not left to improvisation.
