Italian surface finishes in the UK

Surface Framework Library — all products collection.

Designer plasters · metallics · silk & suede · textures Continuous bodies & waterproof systems

This page is the internal library behind the London Studio, ISF Academy and the Installer Network – a single place where every Italian finish in the Framework is recorded as a product and a system, not as “effect paint”.

Use it when you need to understand what sits under a finish, which family it belongs to or where it lives in a project – then take decisions in the Studio, training or on a live job with the same map.

How to read the Surface Framework Library

ISF is a surface finishes company, not a catalogue house. This page shows every Italian product we work with in the UK, organised the way projects actually move: from families (how a room reads), through bodies & systems (what sits underneath), down to an A–Z index for technical checks.

Start with the four surface families if you’re choosing walls. Move to bodies & wet systems if you’re planning floors, bathrooms or microcement-style work. Drop into the A–Z index when you need to look up a specific product, primer or top coat during specification, training or installation.

This collection is the reference point for:

  • designers and studios checking which products sit behind a finish,
  • installers moving through Academy Levels and live systems, and
  • ISF teams in the Studio and Installer Network keeping projects aligned to the same map.

If you’re a homeowner or client wanting an installer, skip straight to Find an installer – we’ll match you to the right people in the Network instead of sending you through the library.

Surface families — how rooms read from a distance

The Framework starts with a simple question: when you stand back, should this wall read as mineral, metallic, fabric-like or more expressive texture? Each answer sits in its own family with a dedicated Studio page, Academy route and installer training path.

Designer plaster surfaces collection

Mineral family

Designer plaster surfaces

Meteore 10 concretes, stones and plasters – the mineral backbone of the Framework. These are the walls that feel structural: stair cores, long circulation runs, galleries, lobbies and main living spaces where painted gypsum is not enough.

The Designer Plaster collection is where most architectural schemes begin. From here you layer metallic, silk & suede or artistic textures as required, without losing the mineral spine of the project.

Continuous bodies & waterproof systems under the families

Families decide how a room reads. Continuous bodies and wet systems decide how it behaves – especially for floors, bathrooms, wet rooms and spa spaces. These are the systems that sit underneath “microcement bathrooms” and seamless floors in the Framework.

In the library they live as their own collection: continuous & waterproof surfaces. On projects they are the bodies that carry Designer Plaster, Metallic, Silk & Suede or Artistic families through high-risk zones.

Continuous surface systems

Italian Microcement (I-BETON PLUS) and related continuous bodies for floors, stairs and walls – concrete-reading surfaces at just a few millimetres thickness over prepared bases.

  • For open-plan floors, stair cores, retail and hospitality routes.
  • Designed to work with underfloor heating, thresholds and existing tiles or screeds.
  • Forms part of higher Academy Levels and the continuous & waterproof collection.

Waterproof Artistic Walls

E-VOLUTION PLUS waterproof bodies that carry concrete, marble, stone, silk, suede, sand, patina and metallic readings through UK bathrooms, wet rooms and spa spaces.

  • One bonded body taking care of water, movement and cleaning.
  • Decorative language is chosen from the families above once the body is designed.
  • Core to Bathroom & Wet-area work at Level 5 and the Installer Network.

A–Z product index (technical reference)

This index lists every product in the All Products collection. It is for reference, specification and training – not for direct purchase. Use it when you need to confirm what a product is, which family or body it belongs to, and which Academy Level or system it normally sits under.

How this library sits inside the ISF ecosystem

This page is the back-of-house view. On its own it is just data. It comes to life when you drop it into the rest of the ecosystem – Italian manufacturer, London Studio, ISF Academy and the Installer Network.

A finish you see on a wall in the Studio, a system you learn at the Academy and a cycle you install on site all trace back here – to a defined product and system inside the Framework. That’s what keeps drawings, training and site work aligned instead of improvising from brochures.

Italian manufacturer

Valpaint surface systems – concretes, stones, metallics, silk, suede, textures, microcement bodies and waterproof systems – developed as complete chemistries, not decorative skins in a tin.

London Studio

Those systems are chosen and tested at 1:1 scale – Designer Plaster, Metallic, Silk & Suede, Artistic Textures and continuous bodies all shown on real walls, floors and bathrooms.

ISF Academy

The same products are broken into Levels and methods so installers learn full cycles – primers, bodies, passes and protection – rather than one-day tricks on demo boards.

Installer Network

Projects across the UK are delivered by ISF Approved Installers working on these exact systems – feeding field experience back into Studio, Academy and product choices.

Italian systems, London Studio, ISF Academy and the Installer Network – this library is the shared reference that keeps all four looking at the same surface language.

Turn this library into a real project.

Use the A–Z index and families when you need to understand the products. Use the Studio, Academy and Network when you are ready to build bathrooms, floors and walls that behave as well as they photograph.
