Soft‑touch depth
A velvety surface that diffuses light and calms a scheme — the wall reads like suede, not paint, adding depth without visual noise.

Valrenna is Valpaint’s soft buckskin / suede wall finish — a hand‑applied coating that turns painted walls into warm, tactile surfaces. It replaces gloss and hard sheen with tailored matte calm, absorbing light like fine suede and bringing quiet luxury to contemporary interiors.
Applied over a tinted primer and finished with techniques such as Buckskin, Shantung or Linen, Valrenna reads as a woven textile rather than a paint film. Each wall carries a subtle nap that softens edges and gives rooms a composed, gallery‑grade feel.

Buckskin, Shantung or Linen techniques introduce subtle weave and nap, so walls behave more like tailored fabric than a coated surface.
Water‑based, vapour‑open and low‑VOC. Designed and made in Italy, curated in the UK by Italian Surface Finishes for real homes, hotels and wellness spaces.
“A tactile textile on plaster — warm, matte and beautifully composed.”
Italian Surface Finishes × ValpaintUse Valrenna when the brief calls for a suede / textile reading rather than plaster, stone or concrete. It sits comfortably beside timber, stone, metal and fabric, adding warmth without reflective glare.
Master suites, living rooms, entrance halls and snug spaces where walls should feel soft, calm and welcoming rather than hard and shiny.
Guest rooms, spa circulation and quiet lounges in hotels and wellness projects, where tactile comfort and controlled light are central to the experience.
Flagship stores, show homes and galleries where you want a tailored, couture feel to the walls that frames product and artwork without competing.
Valrenna is intended for dry, ventilated interiors. For bathrooms, kitchens and any wet or waterproof zones, move to continuous waterproof systems such as E‑VOLUTION PLUS or I‑BETON PLUS and treat Valrenna as the visual reference.

Valrenna is always installed as a system. The primer, coat sequence and technique are chosen so that the suede reading, nap and durability match the project.
1. Primer 400 (tinted) — use Valpaint Primer 400, tinted towards the target tone,
diluted around 20 % where appropriate. This equalises absorption and sets the base colour.
2. Valrenna — first coat — applied uniformly by roller or brush to cover and establish initial tone.
3. Valrenna — second coat — applied in thinner passes, then worked with brush / glove to create the
Buckskin, Shantung or Linen textile effect.
4. Optional protection — in higher‑traffic areas, a compatible clear sealer may be used to increase
washability while preserving the suede reading.
