If you already paint, plaster, tile or run a small decorating company, the ISF Academy and Installer Network give you a clear path into Italian systems – with real training, Levels and projects behind them.
What this page is for
Levels 1–6 are built around the same Italian systems used in the Studio and on Framework projects – not generic “effect” days. You learn substrates, bodies, protection and risk, not just how to make a panel look good.
Levels make it easy to tell designers and contractors which systems and risk you are ready for – from decorative walls through to continuous and wet rooms.
Specs and events use the same language, so everyone is aligned.
The Installer Network connects trained installers to Framework projects where those systems and Levels actually appear – with Studio and Academy support behind them.
Starting points
Installers arrive from different backgrounds. Some are decorators moving into systems, some come from plastering or microcement, some from tiling and small contracting. The Academy is structured so each can step in at the right depth.
If you already protect spaces, cut lines and manage jobs, Level 1 gives you the base for substrates and bodies. From there, Levels 2–3 move into decorative wall systems you can build a business around.
If you are used to trowels, screeds or existing microcement systems, the Academy gives you a way to swap guesswork for defined Italian systems, Levels and protection.
If you already deal with bathrooms, wet rooms and floors, the Framework helps you add Italian systems to that work – with clear demands on substrates and other trades.
Routes
No two installers take exactly the same path, but most follow one of these three routes. You can move between them as your work and confidence grows, without throwing away what you’ve already learned.
Foundations, primers and bodies at Level 1, then two stages of decorative wall systems at Levels 2–3: silks, suedes, satins, metallics and textures.
For installers who want to handle Italian microcement and waterproof systems: concrete‑reading floors, stairs and bathrooms inside the Framework.
For installers who want to lead Framework projects: coordinating details, reading risk with the Studio and mentoring other installers on site.
