How this finish behaves
Meteore 10 Marmorizzato is a marble‑effect lime plaster for continuous, veined stone walls. It builds a dense mineral body that can be compressed from honed stone through to high polished plaster, always reading as marble rather than paint.
Within the Meteore 10 family it is the marble language, alongside Cemento (concrete) and Intonaco (stone / plaster). Marmorizzato is used when the design brief calls directly for marble or marmorino, but you want a seamless, joint‑free skin in place of slab or tile.
Controlled sheen
From soft, honed stone through satin to higher polish. Sheen is tuned through compression, glazing and protection, not by changing product.
Tuned veining
Veining and clouding are worked by hand while fresh, then enriched with layered passes so movement can be subtle, dramatic or somewhere between.

Use Marmorizzato wherever a marble or polished plaster wall is required but full stone cladding is impractical — luxury residential, boutique hospitality and high‑end retail interiors where walls should feel like stone.
Residential feature walls
Living rooms, dining spaces, bedrooms and entrance halls where walls are part of the architecture — reading as stone rather than painted plaster.

Stairwells, lift lobbies and corridors, especially when sealed, where a durable marble reading is required without the weight and detailing complexity of slabs.
In bathrooms, Marmorizzato is used on dry walls only outside direct shower zones. For showers, wet rooms and floors, the marble reading is recreated on a dedicated waterproof body (E‑VOLUTION PLUS and related systems) using compatible decorative layers such as Meteore 12. System & build‑up
Meteore 10 Marmorizzato is always installed as a system. Primer, marble base coats, optional metallic glaze and any protection are chosen so veining, sheen and cleanability match the project brief.
Standard Marmorizzato cycle
1. Primer 1200 — 1 coat diluted around 15–20 % with water to regulate absorption and give
a uniform white base.
2. Meteore 10 Marmorizzato — first coat — thin trowelled layer for mineral body and base tone.
3. Meteore 10 Marmorizzato — second coat — design coat working veining and movement; compressed
for the desired sheen level (honed to polished).
4. Optional Sabulador Soft — 1–2 thin coats of metallic / pearlescent glaze to enrich depth and
marble shimmer where specified.
5. Optional protection — clear protection such as Finish V 18 or wax in selected zones for
increased washability and to fine‑tune sheen.
