Two finishes, one sandy body
Lux for crystalline shimmer; Matt for soft‑grain calm. Both share the same mineral body and application logic, so you can modulate light without changing system.

Sandy luminescent wall system. Sabulador Lux & Matt is Valpaint’s iconic sandy decorative coating: Lux carries crystalline highlights for a brighter shimmer; Matt offers a quieter, mineral glow. Applied by hand with the PV76 artistic brush over PRIMART 600, the grains are re‑brushed into dunes and ripples so the wall reads as light in motion rather than flat paint.
SANDY LUMINESCENCE · LUX & MATT READINGS · VALPAINT SYSTEM, CURATED IN UK
Where sand meets light. Sabulador Lux & Matt is a sandy, light‑responsive wall system. Lux catches more crystalline sparkle in grazing light; Matt gives a softer, velvety mineral reading. In both cases, the effect is controlled through PV76 brushwork, so light travels across the grains rather than sitting on a flat film.
More than “feature‑paint” in a tin. In many UK contexts, sandy or glitter paints are sold as stand‑alone decorative novelties. Within Italian Surface Finishes, Sabulador sits inside a documented system: primed with PRIMART 600, applied in two coats with PV76, and, where required, integrated into Waterproof Artistic Walls as the visible finish over E‑VOLUTION PLUS in wet zones.

PV76 brush and timed re‑brushing organise the grains into dunes, ripples and soft strokes — each wall reads as a piece of drawn light rather than a printed pattern.
Water‑borne decorative coating with low VOCs, Matt formulated with a very low TVOC intent, suitable for residential and hospitality interiors.
“Sabulador is not glitter paint — it’s a sandy, architectural shimmer that only fully appears when you move around the space.”
Italian Surface FinishesSabulador is specified wherever clients want sandy luminescent walls with more restraint than glitter and more character than flat metallic paint — from quiet residential elevations to hospitality backdrops and show homes.
Living rooms, bedrooms and stairwells where a single elevation becomes a softly shimmering focal point under changing daylight and evening lighting.
Bars, restaurants, salons and hotel spaces where a gentle sparkle supports brand tone without tipping into obvious “special effect” finishes.
Show homes, galleries and marketing suites where Sabulador provides light‑responsive backdrops to objects, art and styling.
In kitchens and bathrooms, Sabulador Lux & Matt can be used on dry and occasional splash zones, typically when sealed. For genuine wet areas and showers it is designed to become the visible finish over the E‑VOLUTION PLUS Waterproof Artistic Walls system, with substrate, waterproof layers and reinforcement defined together.

Sabulador Lux & Matt is always specified as a system — substrate preparation, priming, sandy coats and pattern choreography via PV76 are defined together. This gives you repeatable behaviour and clear performance in each zone.
Typical decorative cycle:
• Substrate made good — fill, skim and sand smooth; de‑dust thoroughly.
• 1–2 coats of PRIMART 600 as regulating primer (dilution by substrate).
• First Sabulador Lux or Matt coat with PV76 artistic brush for continuous sandy film.
• Second Sabulador coat, again with PV76, working wall‑by‑wall.
• Timed re‑brushing (after ~5–10 minutes) with clean PV76 to organise grains into dunes and ripples.
• Optional clear protection in higher‑traffic zones.
For showers, spa rooms and fully wet zones, Sabulador can be designed as the visible sandy finish over the E‑VOLUTION PLUS Waterproof Artistic Walls body. Substrate, reinforcement, waterproof layers and detailing are defined within the E‑VOLUTION PLUS documentation; Sabulador Lux or Matt is tuned as the final decorative layer on top.
Exact build‑up and zoning (dry / splash / wet) should always be confirmed with Italian Surface Finishes against project drawings and use.
