Made through the method.

Preparation, application and the selected materials belong to one finish. Review the complete cycle before beginning the work.

    Choose the movement

From a crossed trowel finish to a patterned impression, the method sets the character.

  2. 02

V30 creates the Soft version. Floral and Patterned also have their own SETOMAT requirements.

  3. 03

Application conditions and drying

Apply at +5°C to +30°C. At 20°C, the catalogue gives about 2 hours to dust-free, 4–6 hours to dry and approximately 24 hours to harden, depending on conditions. These are application guidelines, not guaranteed site timings.

Coverage and the amount you need

Coverage changes with the effect and with V30. The effect study above shows the published ranges. Floral and Patterned have a first coat and a separate patterned stage. Primer 400 is approximately 11–12 m²/L for one covering coat. Complete Wall Order handles wall measurements, preparation and pack quantities when you are ready to plan.

V30, SETOMAT and Finish V16

V30 makes the Soft version of all seven documented effects: 250 ml per litre of Valsetin. Floral and Patterned use SETOMAT in the patterned layer: 100 ml per litre of Valsetin. These are separate additions with different jobs. Finish V16 is required for washability of the Soft version; it is not an automatic choice for every Valsetin wall.

Colour, batches and a test area

Use a full test cycle on a small area before continuing across the wall. The catalogues warn that printed colours and batches can differ. Keep the finish coherent across each wall and follow the catalogue’s batch-mixing guidance. A physical applied reference helps judge the intended effect.

Care after application

Original Valsetin is washable with water and ordinary detergents after 15 days. The V30 Soft version is washable only after one or more coats of Finish V16. Test the protective finish first to assess its visual effect.

Tools, cleaning and storage

Use the tool documented for the chosen effect. Clean equipment with water after use. Keep containers tightly closed, between +5°C and +30°C, and follow the supplied technical and safety documents.

Samples and colour in your room

The same finish changes with light, application and the surrounding colours. Use a physical sample and a trial area to confirm the intended result.
