Remove loose or peeling paint, wash with a suitable soap, fill cracks and sand smooth. On a prepared older surface, the catalogue describes Primer 400 diluted 50% with water as a fixing coat, followed after 4–6 hours at 20°C by undiluted Primer 400. On a sound, smooth surface, treat filled areas first, then apply a covering coat over the whole wall. Allow approximately 4 hours at 20°C before the decorative finish. Application conditions and drying
Apply at +10°C to +30°C. At 20°C, the catalogue gives about 2 hours to dust-free, 4–6 hours to dry and approximately 24 hours to harden, depending on conditions. These are application guidelines, not guaranteed site timings.
Coverage and the amount you need
Valsetin 2 is approximately 7–9 m²/L for one covering coat. Primer 400 is approximately 11–12 m²/L for one covering coat. The actual surface and application affect coverage. Complete Wall Order handles wall measurements, preparation and pack quantities when you are ready to plan.
Colour, batches and a test area
Use a full test cycle on a small area before continuing across the wall. The catalogues warn that printed colours and batches can differ. Keep the finish coherent across each wall and follow the catalogue’s batch-mixing guidance. A physical applied reference helps judge the intended effect.
Care after application
Valsetin 2 is slightly washable with water and common detergents after 15 days. Allow the finish to harden before normal use. This guidance does not establish suitability for shower interiors or permanently wet surfaces.
Tools, cleaning and storage
The documented finish tool is the PV43 stainless-steel trowel. Clean equipment with soap and water. Keep containers tightly closed, between +5°C and +30°C, and follow the supplied technical and safety documents.
