Repair, dry and sand the surface, then treat it as required. Both Valrenna and Primer 400 are coloured to the relevant formula. The ground and finish do not necessarily receive the same pigment dose. The written catalogue specifies Primer 400 diluted 20% and a four-hour wait at 20°C before Valrenna. Its pictorial sequences show six hours. Allow for the actual surface and conditions and confirm the current sequence with ISF.
The two coats and practical coverage
All three documented effects use Valrenna diluted 10%, in two coats with around 5–6 hours at 20°C between them. Published Valrenna coverage is approximately 7–8 m²/L. The Italian technical paragraph gives Primer 400 as approximately 11–12 m²/L for a covering coat, depending on absorbency; the English line omits that numeric range. Use Complete Wall Order for project quantities and exact preparation. Agree the intended effect on a trial area before work begins.
Extra Soft M references
The supplied catalogue includes a separate Extra Soft group: 425 M, 428 M, 429 M, 432 M, 457 M and 459 M. Its M preparation is assigned to the VALCLONE tinting system. These identities are preserved in the reference index and sent to ISF for individual review; an A–D formula is never substituted.
Care and conditions
Valrenna is for interiors. The catalogue specifies application above 5°C and below 30°C. After 15 days, clean gently using a soft sponge moistened with water, avoiding rubbing that could mark or discolour the surface. Read the complete catalogue for surface preparation, drying, storage and handling. Photographs of bathrooms or other settings do not by themselves establish waterproofing or wet-area suitability.
