Pearlescent control
Calm, even reflectance with soft lamé highlights. The wall glows rather than glares, even under focused lighting.

Pearlescent lime wall finish — mineral body with a controlled metallic Lamé veil, designed for calm, tactile feature walls that respond quietly to light.
MINERAL TEXTURED FINISH · METALLIC LAMÉ VEIL · ARCHITECTURAL INTERIOR SURFACES
Meteore 8 Lamé begins as a lime plaster — breathable, tactile, architectural — then receives a dedicated Lamé metallic veil that holds light rather than throws it. The surface reads as stone in behaviour, metal in tone, giving a soft, disciplined light across the wall.
Direction and density of the hand‑work set the reading: from soft pearl to deeper metallic presence. It settles naturally beside concrete, stone, oak and linen — a refined alternative where polished plaster or high‑gloss metallic paints would feel over‑stated.

Lime‑based mineral body provides a breathable, tactile surface that sits comfortably within architectural material palettes.
Designed to pair with concrete, stone, timber and woven finishes, maintaining an overall quiet, architectural reading.
“Metal translated into architecture — a soft, disciplined light on a mineral surface.”
Italian Surface FinishesMeteore 8 Lamé is specified wherever a textured wall finish with stone‑like depth and metallic nuance is required — particularly in spaces that benefit from a calm, light‑responsive backdrop.
Entrance walls, galleries and transition spaces where light grazes the surface, revealing controlled mineral relief and lamé highlights.
Living rooms and bedrooms where warmth and tactility are important, but overt shine or strong patterning would distract.
Backdrops for product and artwork where texture supports, rather than competes with, display elements and lighting.
It can also be used on carefully detailed ceilings for a soft, stone‑like canopy that picks up light without feeling heavy. For shower interiors or wet rooms, use Valpaint waterproof systems (e.g. Evolution Plus, I‑Beton Plus) instead.

Meteore 8 Lamé is always installed as a system. Substrate preparation, priming, mineral body and Lamé topcoat are coordinated so the wall behaves as a single, stable finish.
1. Substrate preparation — repair, skim and sand to a smooth, stable, dust‑free finish.
2. Fixative & Primer 400 — stabilise critical areas, then apply
Primer 400 (diluted per data sheet) to regulate absorption.
3. First Meteore 8 coat — build the base mineral relief and movement with a stainless trowel.
4. Second Meteore 8 coat (if specified) — refine the stone effect, compressing or lifting relief as
required.
5. Lamé topcoat (optional) — once fully dry, apply two thin coats of Lamé to create
the metallic stone / lamé veil over the mineral body.
