The Sabulador Soft rate above describes the two covering coats. It is not a rate for every later veining pass combined. Keep the exact Rif recipe together when planning the materials. Allow 4 hours at 20°C between the two covering passes. Where a fourth pass is specified, work that third colour into the grooves, or selected parts of them, and blend with a damp, well-wrung sponge.
Preparation, optional protection and use
Prepare a stable, clean support, remove unstable coatings and repair as required. Apply white Primer 1200 and allow 6 hours at 20°C before Meteore 10. For greater water resistance, the catalogue describes optional Finish V18 Matt or Gloss after 24 hours at 20°C: one or two coats, with 4 hours between them. This is an interior decorative coating; it is not a waterproofing system or a marble slab. Apply and store above +10°C and below +30°C. Allow about 28 days for full hardening, depending on conditions. Trial the complete cycle and judge the applied sample in the intended light.
References, variation and the source
Rifs 185 and 187 have the same printed colour-stage recipe in this catalogue. Their specimens still differ: the formula alone cannot guarantee an identical visual result. Some further catalogue references use other finishing bases; they require individual review. The manufacturer warns of 15–20% variation from the catalogue and between batches. These notes follow the supplied Marmorizzato catalogue, edition 02/23, especially PDFs 10–11.
